La Donazione della Santo Spina

A week-long celebration to commemorate the donation of the Holy Thorn to the town of Montone. Including a competition between the three areas of the town. All of them offering street tavernas serving typical local food at very reasonable prices. The week culminates on the Sunday with a magnificent medieval costumed event.
